Bo Channon
Series Director, Drama Director
Bo Channon is a highly experienced and versatile Senior Producer Director with over 20 years of broadcast and branded content credits across the UK, US, and beyond. With a strong editorial eye, creative vision, and deep technical expertise, Bo consistently delivers powerful, compelling content across true crime, documentary, drama recon, obs doc, and factual entertainment.
Recent broadcast credits include 999: What Happened Next? (Channel 4), Millionaire Murders (FilmRise), See No Evil (Discovery ID), Murder: Fight for the Truth (CBS Reality), When Missing Turns to Murder (Netflix), and The Great House Giveaway (Channel 4). Bo has worked extensively with leading networks including Sky, Channel 5, A&E, and Discovery, alongside branded and digital content for clients such as Crufts and the Ministry of Defence.
His directorial style is dynamic and immersive—whether working with high-profile talent, reformed ex-offenders, or survivors of traumatic experiences. Known for his calm leadership and integrity, Bo is often entrusted with sensitive subjects, international shoots, and high-stakes storytelling.
In addition to his television work, Bo’s branded and government productions include two comedy-dramas for the UK Ministry of Defence, as well as a highly restricted recruitment film for elite Special Forces (SAS, SBS, and SRR). His ability to shoot, direct and produce under extreme confidentiality and creative pressure reflects the high level of trust placed in him.
Outside of the industry, Bo is a dedicated martial artist with over 45 years’ experience in karate as a competitor, coach and mentor. His discipline, patience, and ability to communicate and inspire have transferred seamlessly into his directing career—whether managing large crews, guiding contributors, or executing editorial vision under pressure.
Bo holds a US iVisa, a UK drone licence, and is as comfortable behind the camera as he is in the edit or on location. A driven storyteller, Bo brings not only skill, but passion, precision and purpose to every production he joins.
